Just thought I'd let everyone know some of the things that have made me happy lately...
My wife teasing me
When Kaidence sneaks into bed with us
My renewed love for Red KoolAid
The nice manager at Johnny LongBoats
A clean wiener dog
The Peanut in Becky's tummy
Knowing where my wallet is today
My guns... I've been sculpting them. I don't know if you heard me but I did over a thousand.

Christmas was a good time!
So this was really the first year that Kaidence understood what was going on...In more ways than one. Let me first start by saying that it was the best Christmas ever. Kaidence got a giant blow up bouncy thing from Santa. Since it has a constant blower we did not turn it on until about 6am. When Andy came back into the room Kaidence said "Santa brought daddy a vacuum" Yes that's right even my 2 year old knows that Andy does the vacuuming and mommy does not!
Kaidence was extremely happy with the presents that Santa, mom and dad had given her. It seemed to be a really long day so it was no surprise to me that I was tired. It was however a surprise that I was not feeling great. I had the week off so I figured now was as good of time as any to get the flu.
I had to work on New Years eve so that was kind of a bummer. While sitting at my desk with pretty much nothing to do I started thinking. Kaidence didn't get the one thing that she insisted to Deanna that she was going to get...a baby brother. It was at that time that I started to put all of the past 2 weeks together. The getting sick at night, constantly being cold and tired, and most of all my heightened sense of smell and dislike of Chinese food ( which happens to be my favorite).
I decided to stop and get a test on the way home from work. I joked with Andy and said OK I guess Ill go pee on a stick ( sorry for the visual!) I'm guessing he didn't take me too seriously since he went off to clean out the garage. As I am trying to find the Kandoos for Kaidence and patiently awaiting the results, there it was. Pregnant!!! I have to say it was a bit of a shock although looking back it really shouldn't have been. I then went into the garage and without saying anything handed Andy the test. For once in his life he got past the fact that I, being a girl actually pee and started to cry at the results. I'm pretty sure they were tears of joy. J/K!
We were supposed to meet my sister in 20 minutes to go out for New Years so we headed to her house. I followed her upstairs while she was getting ready and showed her the test. She was so excited and immediately started talking to my tummy! She couldn't hold it in and had to run down and tell Gary and his brother in law and sister. Raven overheard which lead to the next step in the night.
We then headed home and sat Kaidence down and had the talk. I said do you remember what you said Santa was going to bring you? Without even thinking twice she said yes a baby brother. I said that is right and explained how the baby was in my tummy. She was very pleased with the news although now she is not sure if she wants a baby brother or a baby sister.
I wanted to tell my parents in person but since Raven had overheard I knew it was only a matter of time before they would find out. I called my dad who answered with it on speaker phone. It was then in front of a few friends and my mom that Kaidence told them that Mommy had a baby in her tummy. After about 2 minutes of screaming and cheers I finally got a second to myself to reflect on the wonderful journey that I am about to share with my husband. OK wonderful for me and maybe a little more annoying for him! (I'm kind of a whiner!)
So all in all it was a wonderful Christmas and I couldn't have asked for anything more!

I got yelled at...

I'm doing this blog Tarantino style, starting at the end & working back... & then I'll tell the story of how it happened.
Becky: "YOU CAN REMEMBER THAT, BUT YOU CAN'T REMEMBER TO TAKE OUT THE *%#!&* TRASH!?!?!?!?!"
Andy: "Once... when it came out"
Becky: "Haha, How many times have you seen this movie?"
Andy: "Topo Gigio!"
So, we were watching "The Santa Clause" & there's a part in the movie where Santa's being interrogated by the cops & he's asked to say his name... I say, enthusiastically, "Topo Gigio" which happens to be the next thing that Tim Allen is about to say.
Maybe it was only funny to me.
I'm the most forgetful person in the world, it's embarrasing sometimes. I feel that I'm a lot like my dog. I've showed him how to sit hundreds of times but to this day, if I say "sit" he just poops on the floor.
Wait, do I have a lisp & no one has ever told me?
Sorry to put you all through that dorkyness but I only have 2 more days at this job & I've ran out of things to do...

I'm telling this story before Becky does!
I know that she'll make fun of me anyway, so here goes:
We were on our way to the Dane Cook show last night & we were complaining about the dogs. I mentioned that Sprocket ate two of my pairs of flip flops. She looked down & said "aren't you wearing flip flops?"... I indeed was.
I said back to her "at least he didn't eat both left feet or both right feet of the two pairs. He was courteous to eat a left & right so I could mix the left-overs together". She started laughing at me & was even about to call her mom to tell her how much of a dork I am.
Both pairs were black & pretty close in style, so why not! Who's staring at my feet anyway? Any foot starer has bigger problems than my mis-matched flip flops.
word.

Christmas Party!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, Andy here! We've decided to have a Christmas Party! Here are the details:
December 29th at our home. Please call one of us if you need directions. We'll have food, snacks, etc so come hungry! We're also going to do a "White Elephant" gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped gift to join in the fun! The limit for the gifts is $15.
Since those of us with Kids don't get many "Adult Only" nights, please find a sitter because this is a grown up gathering!
I'll be honest with you, this party is kind of an excuse for me to order the UFC fight so be prepared for that to be on in the background later in the evening. Matt Hughes is in the main event & my favorite fighter, Chuck Liddell, is on the undercard! I'm so excited!!!
Please let us know if you can attend, we really hope that everyone can come over!
