Tattoos...

I would like to thank my wife for nudging me back into doing some art. It's always been a big part of my life & I've always wanted to learn the art of tattoo. We invested in tattoo equipment so I could start learning. I've spent the last few days learning & I think I've been progressing by leaps & bounds... It still sucks, but I'm very proud of the progress that I've made in just a weekend.

Here is what I've done from Day #1 to Day #3...

One door closes...

Just over 2 weeks after my lay off & I was offered a higher paying job with better benefits! Becky & I weren't too worried about the lay off because we just had a feeling that everything would work out & it did. You just have to have faith in yourself & we do. I'll be an admissions director for South University Online, helping people further their education... Sounds like a sweet gig to me.

Life is good...

I was laid off last week. The kicker is that I actually love my job which makes it that much worse. As you know, Becky & I work together; She was told that she will eventually be laid off as well. We'll be ok as I know it's just a blessing in disguise. Since this has happened, we have taken notice of the important things in life... The special little things that make our family happy...

  • Playing board games & practicing dance with Kaidence.
  • Watching Kennedee learn how to crawl & eat peaches.
  • Holding my wife and knowing that we all love each other so much.
  • Gardening as a family.

Here's a picture of how our vegetable garden looks currently. I hope that everyone who might read this is doing well & enjoying their own small blessings.
